This summer, I am presenting my first small series of hand-woven linen bath towels, baTu. Each towel is unique and comes in three colours with white. Linen is a wonderful material: pleasant on the skin, highly absorbent, antibacterial, robust and environmentally friendly. The warp yarn for baTu is sourced from @swissflax, which has been growing flax in the Emmental region for some time now and spinning it into yarn. The dyed weft yarn is European linen of the highest quality. A baTu measures 70 x 160 cm and weighs approx. 540 g, a wonderfully heavy quality that is very absorbent. Whether in the bathroom, at the pool or on the beach, baTu may soon become your favourite towel!
